the Sussex bracket clock after the original made by Thomas Tompion of England, one of if not the most famous clock makers of the period,


the clock is named after the client whom the clock was made, the Duke of Sussex and made in 1681, the clock has an ebonies wooden case with a cast brass and fretwork basket top with carry handle, both the sides and the back door have fretted inset panels, the clock sits on 4 cast brass feet, the dial is a true copy of the original, the chapter ring in brass being silvered as the original,

scale 1/12th or 1 inch
made from Fruit-wood, stained, colour blended sealed and hand french polished in the traditional manor like all my work.
