plain English dial clock for your dolls house, this is a working clock, the case and dial have been copied from original of the period, the case is made form fruit-wood with a turned bezel mounted to a box back, both sides have faux pins as per the original and on the underside is a faux door with brass hinge and lock plate, (originally for access to the pendulum)
these clocks dated to the late 18th century where they would be found in the more unfitly rooms of the house, Kitchens and servant rooms, later in the 19th century they found their way into the study and other more central rooms,
scale 1/12th or 1 inch
made from Fruit-wood, stained, colour blended sealed and hand french polished in the traditional manor like all my work.
