small 17th century ebonies English bracket clock,

this clock has been based on an example from the late 17thc circa 1690 the clock is a working example with a brass dial traditionally silvered chapter ring, the ebonies case has fret panels to both sides and the back door with a red backing, the extra details of the top handle, front and back key lock plates and faux hinges are in brass, this is the smallest period clock I have made to date and is suitable for either a table or mantle,

made from Fruit-wood hand stained and hand French polished,
