Art Deco mantel clock

Art Deco mantel clock

The style of this clock is unmistakable, and fits completely within the Art deco period; the dial has a true period look with its rather angular numbers. The figure sitting to the side is by Neil carter who makes some of the most wonderful miniature sculptures available. This clock would well suit a period setting or quite at home in a modern setting.

English or French chair

English or French chair

Well this chair is quite a mix of styles outwardly it is completely English in design, but total finished in a distressed French manor. The chair is from John Hodgson, which we have hand finished with a distressed gilded look right down to the antique seat covering. A good decorative chair, suitable for many different interiors.

Fine Georgian dressing mirror

Fine Georgian dressing mirror

This dressing mirror has been taken from an example from the Georgian period, it features an opening serpentine draw with turned brass handles and a small ivory lock plate, the framed mirror is supported by two tapered uprights which terminate in small brass turned finials. This is a lovely piece and no bedroom is complete without one.

A pair of mirrored chest of draws

A pair of mirrored chest of draws

These are probably one of the most sort after full size items we are asked for, so now available in 1/12th scale. These chest have been made so as little as possible of the frame work shows from the outside, this in turn allows as much light to be reflected as possible. All three draw fronts as well as both sides and the top have been covered in mirror, which just radiates light. These are typical of the 1920's and the very stylish Art Deco period, but are quite at home in any period or contemporary setting.

Fine Regency bracket clock (square cased)

Fine Regency bracket clock (square cased)

This bracket clock belongs to one if not my favourite era for furniture and fitting, which can only be the Regency period, and which dates to around 1815. this clock has a mainly square feel to the case with a roof like pediment detail which terminates in a turned finial, there is a detailed moulding running the perimeter of the base and the whole clock stands on small pad feet. This clock looks great when sitting in an interior, and I am sure this one will suit most interiors. If you are looking for this style of clock but are wanting something a little bit special, I am working on a similar clock at the moment which will have silver gilt lions, bezel and final, if you are interested either keep look or email and I will send pictures as soon as I have them.

Swan neck Longcase

Swan neck Longcase

This clock is similar to another clock that I make but has some refining details, the door to the trunk is shaped and the pillars are turned, the main body of the case is Pear wood where as the door and the base have Burr Walnut panels with a rosewood crossbanding. From the bottom you have shaped boarded feet to all 3 sides on this the base with the inlayed Walnut, the trunk and door with a gold tassel instead of the lock plate, the slender hood with turned pillars and tall swan neck pediment. A well proportioned clock which looks great in most interiors including modern.
